Best Model

The money the travestis ask for a short time will initially be more, but they can be bargained down and don't seem to mind if you try to do that.
One night I wanted to go to one of the discos that was popular with the GLBT crowd, and rather than go alone, I walked up to the next street corner from my guest house and asked some of the travestis if they wanted to go to the disco.  Again, I never felt one bit threatened or unsafe being around these travestis. I think though that at least 2 of those 3, had already modeled and or spent the night with me at least once. So we kind of knew each other. There were some gay foreigners, Americans as I recall, stopping by the guest house to visit the owner.
I paid a very reasonable rate to the taxi man to drive us around. That was how I met my best model. Prostitution is legal there, for anyone 18+. Pimping is not legal, but since the hookers don't have to worry about breaking any laws if they are 18 or older, they don't need any pimp to protect them. For equal quality, hotels are more expensive than Thailand, by a slight margin.I told them of my interest in the travestis, and they did not have one good thing to say about them. Very harsh I thought, because I wasn't seeing this negative side of them. One other interesting thing that happened. One favorite travesti I met on the corner down from the guest house was a Nicaraguan named Roshany, I think. She was slender, dark skinned, very pretty, and had a long cock. I had her stay with me a few days. One evening I took her out to a fairly nice restaurant that served some sort of Middle Eastern food, maybe Pakistani, don't remember for sure. We sat at one of the outside tables, and it wasn't very crowded.

After that they asked us if we wanted dessert. Then for some reason, they claimed to be out of every kind of dessert. Maybe I am a little slow on the uptake, so I went ahead and paid for the meal and we left. Then it dawned on me. After further thought, I think they didn't realize for some reason until we asked about dessert, that Roshany was a travesti and I think that is why they told us they were out of all desserts, to get rid of us as soon as possible. We were there kind of early evening before the regular hours when I expected the main crowd for dinner would be there. I told a couple of the fellows also staying at the guest house about it, to perhaps cost that restaurant their business. Anyway, that is what I basically remember about my 3 weeks in Costa Rica.
I went to Costa Rica in early 2005, to try to find and photograph some travestis for AsianTs.com. The owner thought it would be nice for a change of pace to mix some in.
The park you refer to is called Parque Morazon and I found it was relatively safe to walk around the adjacent streets. I talked to a lot of them, not many spoke English. But when I was out mingling with them while they stood on street corners plying their wares, they were all pretty nice to me. I found several who made good models and were great for sex, very passionate, ended up with a couple of galleries that didn't pass muster however. About 3 of the hottest ones I saw would not agree to be photographed for various reasons. Very few had implants. I think a couple of them at least were boys during the day, and then dressed up at night to work the streets. I think the most popular one I found there was like that. Transgenderism isn't totally accepted there, like most Latin countries, so to have day time jobs, they needed to go back and forth between being a guy and a TG, some did anyway. The place to stay is Barrio Amon in San Jose. There are several reasonable hotels or guesthouses there. The places I stayed were no problem with me bringing the travestis to the room. At one hotel, I was talking to the desk clerk about other places to meet some besides Barrio Amon, and he told me about the next city, Heredia, and he drove there with me in an off duty taxi of a friend, to look for some hanging out on the streets,
